You allways hear (read) about the bad ones. I guess all the people that have a good one are to bussy riding to post. I have a 02 Moto, We raced a Banshee in 2001 with lots of maintanance. Don't know if this will help? When I rebuilt my Moto the air box had about 1/2 cup oil in it. When I removed the air box and cleaned it I noticed a clear plastic bulb on the buttom (I think is ment for a drain). I would like to know what coolant you are useing and how old your engines are. I have one of the first MOTO's and I am just reassembling it now and don't see any pitting. I had the same problem. Could not tighten cap enough to stop coolant from leaking around cap, mostly when reving the engine. A quick fix I used was, putting a hose clamp around the cap then snug the cap now tighten the hose clamp then tighten the cap. this held for sevral race weekends. Never realy ...
