If I am reading the original post correctly, you state the R has stock suspension. If this is right then the Dale would be the better Handler hands down.

Don't know if this will help? When I rebuilt my Moto the air box had about 1/2 cup oil in it. When I removed the air box and cleaned it I noticed a clear plastic bulb on the buttom (I think is ment for a drain). I had the same problem. Could not tighten cap enough to stop coolant from leaking around cap, mostly when reving the engine. A quick fix I used was, putting a hose clamp around the cap then snug the cap now tighten the hose clamp then tighten the cap. this held for sevral race weekends. Never realy ...
