would I be better off getting a engine from black widow for this or just get a head and cams and all that for this one? I believe this one was ported by someone at blackwidow atv not positive though. maybe just go back with stock bore also.

finally got some time to start tearing this thing apart. started tearing this thing down tonight, wow its going to take me a lil bit to get that engine out! I pulled the lid off the airbox and found some antifreeze sitting in it. then I started trying to remove the air box and that's about how far I got.

soon i'm going to pull the engine out of this and was wondering if there is anyone near Kansas that does machine work or has any knowledge on these engines? i'm totally new to this engine and quad for that matter but would like to go through it and have it done up the right way.

pulled the oil filter out of it today and there doesn't seem to be any water in the oil, but there is metal shavings in the filter. sounds like it needs to be totally torn down.

when I get mine done i'd love to meet up with some cannondalers out at the dunes.
