I just bought a new front number plate. It was still in the bag, but is stained yellow (maybe from the sun?).

I'd like to clean it up and make it white again. Other than sanding it and then buffing it, is there an easier way to clean this thing up? Maybe a plasic chemical or wax?

Any help is appreciated...

Maybe Comet will work.

take it and sand it down with paper...the whole face of it...with a real fine grain...I used a little hand held sander...it'll be bright white but with a flat look to it...then you can do what you want with it...by the way...the yellow is embedded in the plastic...no other way to remove it other than paint...had the same thing happen to mine...
