Any gas cap that is 20.00 is a piece.....The project321 caps are 100% Billet. Plus you don't look like every other wanker with a cheap cap.

I ordered mine from Rocky Mt. I did it over the computer so I wasn't able to ask for the Cannondale one so I ordered the CR250. But. like I said, it doesn't fit right. Maybe MotoX called and asked like I should have.

The MadMotoWorks caps are billet also. Just not the $80 price tag. The project 321 caps are very nice though, wouldnt want one on my dirt bike though. Might break it.

I ride Mx and trails. Why would I want a $100 gas cap when it is just gonna get dirty and scratched? I will stick with my electrical tape around the threads and plastic cap. I like looking like everyon eelse. Wait, I ride a cannondale, I don't look like anybody at the track!

Gas Cap

I ordered the CR250 Gas cap, Works great for me. This thing isn't some cheap part either, It is Billet no doubt and is polished with TUSK lazered into it. Don't let some of these people fool you into buying one of them rediculously priced caps. The reason they are so cheap is because they produce so many of them. Half the time they are sold out though.... Very hot seller according to Rocky Mountain

If just trying to avoid leaks without bling, you can pull out the overthick stock gasket and replace with a particular Viton O-ring, turns down farther an no more leaks ($5 shipped). Local hardware O-rings don't last long.
Or, you can just peel off the quadring from a used oil filter and use that -- fits perfect, works great! biggrin.gif
