I have had zero replies for people who either said they were interested or anyone new who wants a skid. Looks like this project may need to be put on hold until there is enough confirmed interest.

I counted 10 people from the beginning of the post, however I wanted a confirmed count through PM's now that I am ordering the stock and building them. I have PM'd everyone who expressed interest to see if they were still interested. As soon as I get a confirmation of 6 skids, I will place the order and they will be delivered within 3 weeks MAX.

The UHMW heavy duty ones will be $75 plus shipping and the HDPE lighter duty ones will be $60. A $5 donation will be made to the site for each skid sold. The shipping on them shoud be fairly inexpensive as they are thin and lightweight. I would venture to guess no more than $10.

The final version features countersunk allen bolts with zinc plated clamps and nyloc nuts. The bottom of the skid will be completely flat and features a larger relief cutout for your oil and tranny drains than most other skids I have seen. There will also be a hole on the clutch side to drain the lower spar which will also act as a drain for water and dirt that gets accumulated.

We all know that from past experiences people will say they are in for one of these projects then bail out and never actually proceed with their order. I just dont want to go order $500 worth of plastic and get stuck with it. I hope you can understand where I am coming from.

****UPDATE****

I got an old PM from someone who wanted to order 2 sets so I will not need payment up front.

I ordered the material order today and should have everyones out to them in 3 weeks. I am finished with my race season this weekend and the last round of XC racing was ROCK CITY. I smashed it hard repeatedly and no cracks to report. Now I have some free time to bang these out for everyone.

You guys who ordered these will be extremely happy. I hooked up with a local supplier and got 3/8th's UHMW for the same price.

Stock is in and I will be fabricating all of the plates this weekend and will be shipped out this week! I will contact everyone for payment once I get a shipping price on these and get them out the door.
