You either have to oblong the holes out that are in the bottles so it will sit lower, or you have to get longer bolts and use some spacers to move the bottle out far enough for the tank to miss the cap. Hope this helps! I'll add some more pics after this weekend too.:usa

For you guys asking about the gas tank and the fuel consumption, I did some measurements from this weekends racing for you. I raced a 20 min. plus 2 lap moto and this is what I found. The tank holds 1.5 gallons of gas when topped off completely. We timed the laps out and figured that I was running between 27-30 minutes total on track time plus the to and from ride and stagging. I drained the tank after the race and found that I had used only 1/2 a tank of gas for all of the above mentioned riding. I didn't think that was too bad actually. I was figuring that I would be on fumes at that point. I am running a stock motor and the Nac's map for reference. I think that a 450 kit would consume more, the stroker probably would too. Farrar needs to do some testing for us now. lol:usa

So do you think I could get through a 2 hour xc race on 2 tanks of gas?

I ran about 20 miles last weekend on right at 1.5 gallons. About 1:45 riding time. Was a XC race.

Thats good news. If we could squeeze a little more fuel tank in there maybe we could be good. I'm all for the lower seat height and wide array of graphics and plastics. If we can get this practical for us xc guys, maybe we can start working on some ecu tray sealing. Does anyone have any pics of under the hood?
