anybody ever try different plastic on a dale

Plastic, skidplates, bumpers, seat covers, graphics, dress up items, nerf bars, etc.

the footpegs and a-arms were chromed at Ogden chrome plating in Utah. I thought the green "fire" was kinda neat, I also painted them on my tool cart that I use at work....

Got the seat on.

Had to cut away some stuff on the seat and heat the tank and reshape it a bit.

I also shortened the seat about 1/2 inch. So it would fall before the the fuel tank.

Post a few pics from behind looking at the tank area. I am interested to see how much slimmer it is around the tank area where our machines are notorious for being very bulky.

Due to the shape of the tank, the YFZ plastic is pushed outward in de area at the front of the seat, about 1/2 inch each side.

But it is MUCH slimmer in that area.

I'll get some more pictures.

Looks like the seat height is a bit higher than stock, isn't it? Judging by how much room there is from the bottom of the plastic/seat to the top of the subframe, anyway. Currently, our seat sits right on the subframe, but that seat is a bit thinner. Still looks to be higher, overall.
