Hopefully this will keep some of the roost out of my radiator. It is supposed to be in the mid-90s Sunday when I'm racing.

Cool, home made plates are the ****! I also have one, except its made out of 3 layers of .30 mil roofing membrane. Looks good for free. I should take some pictures.

I hate to give up my secrets, but mine is made of a hood from a 05 honda 450r. I'll trim it a little nicer when I have time. I tested it this morning and it passed with flying colors. I'm ready to bring them to market. I'll make a little kit, with honda type push-pins to attatch it to the fender and a couple of black zip ties to attatch it to the bumper. And of course, detailed directions, with an 800 number everyone can call for installation help. The kit should retail for $19.95, Honda hood not included. HA HA. I'll call it my GHetto Moto update kit. Get them while they are hot!!

Here are some pictures of last weekend. If you are patient, at the 2:06 minute mark of the video, you can see my new roost guard in action. This race was at Millville MN. I finished 5 out of 13 in the +35 class. http://www.kixsquest.com/gallery/view/2007/7/10/155951/005

Ah, so funny when someone just can't follow the rules then has to whine about it.

Gratz on the race.

Update to the GHETTO PLATE UPDATE. It really does keep the radiator clean.[attachment=4153:DSC01301.JPG][attachment=4154:DSC01302.JPG]
