I'm planning on trimming my seat foam down a little, anybody have any tips? What works good for cutting/shaving it? I was thinking about maybe a hacksaw blade? Any advice would be great.

Electric knifes work great for seat foam.

I agree with Wistech, I have had good luck with an electric knife.

You may think about contacting Canniboomer before cutting a good seat. He has some old FX400 seats that had a lower profile, he may have a ripped seat to use instead also....

I asked the wife and she said we don't have an electric knife. My first wife must have taken it in the divorce. I never thought I would need it, you know? I guess I'll head over to Walmart. Thanks for the info everyone. Canniboomer, got any of those fx400 seats left?

I might be interested in that. Could you post a pic of the low foam seat? I'm not sure how "low" they are compared to a regular one.

I believe Boomer said there was 1" less height, with less foam against the tank area (front of the seat) also, bringing you more forward slightly.
