starting bid $100, if you want a polished frame, should be well worth it.

Just make sure your setup will work with that frame. Pretty sure that is an early FX400 frame with the solid plate welded on the round tube where the nerf bars pass through. The welding tabs on the a-arms will be narrower than the later frames.

I don't guess I have noticed this. What exactly is different?

The width of the 8 places of the frame that the a-arms slide into is lightly narrower. Not sure the exact amount, but it's a small difference, about 1/16"-1/8". enough though that the "standard" metal inserts won't fit between them. They have to be turned down.

That's funny. The frame number he gives is for a 2002 Cannibal. All of the FX frames (including the Cannibal ones) should be coded as 2001 frames.......

That is an FX frame though.

I'm trying, but not coming up with any way to tell from a pic. So, how can you tell? You could tell if it's early by the steering stem bearing mount bracket, but I believe there were both styles on early Cannibals. I don't think I can see 220 thousandths from a pic!

Either way, it's a steal at or near that price! Polishing sucks!

I am 99% positive that all of the frames with the round tube where typically the nerfs pass that are welded up solid are all FX400 frames. In 2002 and later they left it open and or used a plastic cap to cover the hole on the models without nerf bars
