Not sure if anyone else has this problem, but the plastic on the front fenders, where it screws down through the tank cover and into the tank, on every set of fenders I have used has eventually vibrated a giant hole there. I tried various things, but this is the best yet. Take a low brass shotgun shell, cut off the plastic right above the brass, punch out the primer--which fits the 6mm screw about perfect--and install it upside down into the hole--rim side up. It is like a giant, flanged, custom washer, and it looks cool, at least IMHO.

Ive plastic welded up a bunch of those. If just the bottom of the hole is all thats pulled it will be hiden under the washer. I like the shotgun shell idea though .
