As i have been building my 02 cannibal i didnt like the fact that the radiator was wide open. I woods ride alot and found this to be a problem. My brother in law said guys have modded bike rad guards to fit. Well found one from a 03 x440. Once i got it i found that its about an inch to wide from a bolt on piece. So all i did was cut it and took 1inch from the center and rivet back together. Also had to clearance the upper left to clear the rad hose. But after those simple mods it was a bolt on part. Hope it helps

It might be better to swap sides because the guards will not block front tire splash as it is directly open to the tire. On the bike the tire is in the front so they block center splash . Your setup is better than most of the aftermarket guards which are known to cause overheating.
