My gas cap doesnt leak bad, but it does seap when on a very full tank.

Is there an aftermarket quick disconnect style cap that will work on this?

I saw a picture of a billet style gas cap, is this still a screw on?

Just curious what my gas cap options were.

i never was a big fan of the cannondale cas cap because its plastic and if you tighten it to stop fuel from leaking the inner side walls of the cap can't support the stress of being over tightened.

i had a bbr billet gas cap on my wifes quad which she didn't need back when the quad was mine and i was larger than the dale cap so i decided to put an extra dale cap i had in my lathe and turn everything off the outside of the cap except the inner threads then i cut some grooves in the outside of the cap to hold the epoxy. right now i'm working on getting the cutters to start making billet caps but i think i prefer mine because it still retaines the original dale threads that are reinforced by the bbr cap

easy to do took about an hour. anybody come up with thoughts or idea's let me know

I ordered a Tusk billet cap from Rocky Mountain for a CR250 and it doesn't fit. It has CR/KX/(something else I can't remember) engraved in it. I guess I'm going to send it back. Is there another bike model I can try?

The cap from a '97 CR250 is the one that fits (so I hear!)

We need someone who has actually gotten a specific cap that works.
