Seat foam

Has anyone cut out any of the foam in the seat to lower the seat height? I measured mine vs. a 400EX and the lowest part of the seat was 1" higher than the EX. It seems like there is enough foam there, but I don't know about 1" worth.

Try just adjusting your preload. I like the cushion of the seat, but once in a while I will hit my butt on the side of the seat.:eek:
