Yup you just connect the two wires.I did that using a MSR easypull lever in the easiest position you could pull clutch with one finger.

clutch cables

That easy pull is cool. So if you connect the 2 wires you don't have to pull clutch to start?
Does anyone know of a dealer that has cables in stock?
they've been backordered for a month now and I'd really like to have an extra on hand.

If it is in gear make sure you have the clutch pulled in. Connecting the two wires fools the quad into thinking the clutch is pulled in at starting.

Yeah I just went through the same thing. I just taped the 2 wires together. Remember when cold starting to punch it once quickly and let go so you can prime the system. The cables I found were at R&S performance. Kyle had them in stock I got it in a week. They are shorter cables with a new routing.
