i bought one that comes on the speed and moto from my dealer for $9. 50 is crazy. mine is metal too.

I made one this weekend out of polished aluminum treadplate.
It's the scrap from my new Radiator scoops that turned out pretty **** cool and all of it cost less than 15 bucks.
Whole project took less than 2 hrs from start to finish.
I dont have pictures of it, maybe next week.
