That thing is SWEET!

Ya know, I think the sides of my motor are a composite of some kind. Or is that just paint? The motor in the pic above is polished, or are they chromed?

Nice looking quad, but a lot of work too!

You could get the frame anodized. It would hold up better than powder beacuse the color goes into the aluminum. I'm just not sure how deep.

Nac's has some polsihed side covers for the dales.

Yes you can powdcoat aluminum.
and you can use some really cool colors that are transparent
candy colors too.

Pictures of my polished speed are at Polished Speed

It does take some time but it keeps it shine for quite awhile.

Anaodizing will etch the surface and you will lose some of the brillance.

Powder coating is an option.

My side cases are polished and the are magnesium. If you don't powder coat them they will fade very quickly.

oohhhhhh yeeahhhhhh! That thing is sweet!

All it needs is a good covering with some of that West Virginia mud and it would never be the same!! That's a definite benefit of riding the dunes! You don't have to get the mud out of every nook and cranny! I gave up trying...
