Air Filter Repair

Anybody got something good to use for sealing a tear in an air filter? I put 2 slits in one during the wreck at Majestic. I straightened out the cage pretty well, but need to seal up the filter.

I used silicone on one a few years ago and it still hasn't let go completely, but it seems to be working it's way apart slowly. Any other ideas?

If its a stock one then post your addy. I have piles of those laying around here.

They are cheap enough, just replace it. Not worth the risk of sucking dirt into your motor for a $10 or so filter.
