Can you use any kind of mineral oil or do u have to use Magura's mineral oil?

The mineral oil from the grocery store works perfect unless is below freezing then they get a little sluggish.

You can use Baby Oil (which is mineral oil with a scent) from the grocery store if you can't find anything local around you and yes i've used it before.

You can also use plain ole ATF. I have used baby oil with no problems but like already stated can cause problems in cold weather.

Or: 10wt hydraulic jack oil.
10wt or 5 wt Fork oil.
MOTOREX HYDRAULIC FLUID 75.

Well this sucks. I waited a couple days and paid a ridiculous price for "magura blood" when I had a quart bottle of fork oil sitting right on the shelf.....I guess this is good to know for next time.

thanks its good to know that you dont just have to use magura's mineral oil..
