What should i be using to clean my scotts stainless oil filter. and how do you guys do it.

QD (Quick Dry) Electronic Spray Cleaner. available at Wal Mart, Napa, Auto Zone, etc. Red can, spray can. I use it on everything. It degreases the engines, is o-ring safe, no VOCs, etc. Great stuff.

Heck, I even sprayed it in my eye once and it didn't hurt.... then again I wear contacts....

cool thanks for the tip, Ill pick some up when i go buy some oil.
