Adjusting the chain??

I am having problems adjusting my chain following the instructions in the manual. I tried using the screw driver approach in chain adjusting point on rear axle, chain will not loosen. Can some expalin the best way to adjust the chain?

You have loosend the 4 bolts @ the end of the swingarm right?Try rolling the quad back and forth with the screwdriver in the hole in the carrier with the driver against the sprocket hub.Hope this helps.
