Oil filter

#1 Post by Cannibal440 »

Hey guys, I just bought a metal screen oil filter from the parts dept at the cannondale dealer. It was about $32 and there are 2 o-rings needed about $6 each. Much cheaper than the Scotts. My dealer had to order it and it's not in yet but he says he is sure they are still available. I'll let everyone know if there are any problems getting these items.

You can probley carfully take the o-rings off the disposable one and use them I think.

I thought the same thing, but I don't want to be in the middle of an oil change and tear one of the o-rings trying. So I ordered them as well. $6 for an o-ring is crazy, so when mine come in I'll go buy some spares at Home depot or ace hardware.
