Gncc Rd 1
I went up to the 4 stroke A line a 1/2 hour early to get a decent spot and it was already full! I had to line up way inside, but still got a decent start. I worked my way through a couple of bottle necks and was looking pretty good, then it happened, major problems! No it was not the quad, it was me. I was already dead tired only a 1/2 lap into the race. From there on it was just survival. Everylap I kept hoping it was the last one, then they would send me back out for another one. I knew this would happen even before the race started. I haven't rode in over 2 months. I just went for fun. I ended up 22nd out of 34, so there were a few others having a worse day than me. To add insult to injury, on the last lap not wanting to get anymore "dirty/wet" I went to the edge of a little water crossing. I clipped an erosion fence and did a 4th gear ejection. Of course right in the mud and water. That's what I get for being a sissy. I was glad it was time to go home.
It was good to see that many Dales out there still racing and looking good!
P.S. I'm blaming the whole bad day on not having tireballs. If I would have had tireballs, I would have probably won! Always have to have an excuse.
