There were a couple sweeping turns which were smotth early and rutted out later. Made turning fun. You swept up and down the hills. With step downs mixed into it.

Then off into the woods you go. Not what Rookie and I ride in locally, but a little tight and definitely some sections with interesting trees in it!

They definitely had the course marked well enough, and there was no way you would have gotten lost after the trails were cut by the first 100 riders!

You cut through a couple more sections in the woods then a hard 90 right and downhill to the field section which cuts you across it and into the waterside area.

Waterside area. Now if anyone has ridden Back of the Mt which is one of our local races this area would look and feel very similar. Later this trail was off camber to the left and all sorts of loose silt in it and whooped to the max!

Just an idea of the drop off to the water. Not that you got too close!

Now for the rhythm section. A whole lot of these, but there was an alternate line around this area, but no one used it as it was easier to just roll these than go around them!

More of the waterside trail.

Notice the multiple lines. Just messing. I really liked that concept at Rausch and though they were going to do similar here, but I guess they didn't have the paths.
