derno's was running, i'm not sure if mine will run or not. it doesn't have a z400 bearing in it, you know...

and i saw that R running a few laps out there, was it the staff's quad? wanab, my R has way too much power to be racing for 6 hrs, my arms would've been ripped out of their sockets after 2 hrs.

You guys should be very proud of your accomplishments. Derno, I think it's a good stepping stone for the 12 hour. Get those issues resolved and get out there and dominate!

Could we run our MX set-up's or would we have to worry about ground clearance? Larger tires, skids and so-on?

under normal conditions i'd recommend 21 and 20" tires
all i have is the factory plastic swingarm skids
there's always a few tight spots, but usually there's multiple lines around them.

i took ****** and dirt through the "rough" stuff last fall. they both made it on their atk and moto with 18" and no skids.

I would say that later in the race you would want to be using taller tires as the track got really rutted at both Iowa and GA and last year at Rausch was pretty rutted too.
