I got 12th in 265/450C racing 3 nationals and 15th in production C running 2 of them. I am fairly proud of my finishes. Next year I may be running Open B on a Timbo monster.

Locally I am 1st in points with an 8 point lead and 2 races to go. The kid in first won nationals in 265/450 C. and the race this past weekend was on a Car dirt track (3/8 mile oval) we ran the track in a big U shape and the lack of HP in the dale really showed. The kid who won nationals ran away with it and I got 2nd battleing a YFZ 450 and a 265R. I could make a little ground on them in the infield where it was tighter and a little more technical, but on the outside they would catch up to me and we actually went into the infield 3 wide one time. The guy ont he R claims he missed a shift and the guy on the YFZ just lost too much momentum going so tight.

I ended up 9Th in open C in the GNCMX. I made it to 4 nationals ran 2 of them on my raptor cause my dale was not ready. I cant wait to run all of my races on the dale next year!

running a Timbo stroker with his port work, an FMF ti and his mapping, we could probably get a little more with more dyno time, but I am running against 58-60hp hondus.

Thanks guys, I just wish there was more R&D going into a 450cc motor. It seems like everyone who does good around here is running open classes, but where the biggest recognition and most competition is in the production classes. I do not know about anyone else or anywhere else around here there is always more people in production classes than open. Racing heats and knowing I have to make top 4 to go to the main is a lot more fun then just racing for starting position and havign a garunteed spot on the frotn line because there is only 10 people in the class.

Hey Jester that is somewhat true about 450 production class but do you know how many are cheating? Its really obvious. All the 450s are within 1or2 hp of each other with basic mods even your motor yet you will always see a few that just pull away on straights or hill etc.Guess why?
