I finally have whipped myself into riding shape at the end of the year and managed to go 1-1 for the weekend. It moved me up to 3rd for the year in my class and if it were not for missing a round I would have finished 2nd.

Here are a few pics. The guy #8 is former pro and Josh Creamer's factory Kawasaki mechanic Dave Therrien. Him and Josh came up to me after the race and was like that Dale is a rocket, I used to have a few back in the day and I could not come close to you. I said yeah, they have come a long way in the power department in the last few years. He was impressed with the power to say the least. smile.gif

Great Job Wes! It's a shame you couldn't get Josh on the Dale for a lap or two to give a comparison with his current ride....

I will see what I can do about that over the winter. Josh had surgery on both knees back at the end of Sept or beginning of October. He started out racing on a Dale back in the day and broke his back on it at Southwick in 2003 I believe. I am quite sure that he would make me look like a child with the way he manhandles a quad. His style is one of the best to watch. Him and Wienen will surely be a force out there if they are both healthy in '09.

Hey 2000ex

Congrats! Very cool to see you doing that on the dale. Just curious, would you mind telling us what motor work, piston etc you are running?

Thanks

God bless...

Mark

Thanks,

It really is nothing out of the ordinary. I am running a 97mm CP, Timbo 2.2mm stroker crank, timbo ported, cyclone air horn with uni filter, stock injectors with an adjustable fuel regulator bumped up to 55-60 PSI. I timed the cams at 106/108 and it flat out rips. Nothing crazy fancy...and really no need to smile.gif

Hi

Thanks for the info. Just curious, why the boosted fuel psi?
