just a hand full of pictures that my old bird took of me at the 2008 red bud nats. it sure was nice being the only dale at the race track this year, got a lot of attention.
hope to keep all you dale/atk race fans updated on my full season this year. got a new helmet cam and trying to teach the old lady how to take a little better pics.

Red Bud with pefect track conditions at a national???? first year we ran the nationals there it was muddy and it got worse every year after. My son really liked that track. it is real hard on the quads when its muddy. one of the best quad turnouts at a non national race got real thin after the first moto. He didn't even finish the first lap in the first moto. went to the second moto and I believe there were 10-15 riders in his class that day but most didn't make it back and only one other made it to the finish so he got a second overall.

I think the 02 nationals there you could have run in a boat. LOL

I cant even imagine getting air like that and having my behind on the seat during any point of the jump!
Do you land like that? If so that has got to be hard on your back...

no idon't land like that, the quad in the pic was just a stock trim unit. so i like to seat bounce to give a little more lift, to make up for the lack of power. ishould not have that problem this season, putting a stroker with a ported head together as we type! as for the track, the weather was great, and the track really didn't get any rougher then it normally does on any giver sunday. mud...sand...dust...ruts...all good hear!
