Still really stoked, amazed at how well the bike coped broken plastics aside. I'll be doing some work in that area when the replacements arrive. The rears don't get alot of support if you don't run stock heel guards.


If that were typical conditions, I'd be getting a spare set of plastic, bore holes where you can and experament with foam, MX bike guys put it on to somehow keep the mud from sticking as I under stand. maybe it just fills voids that would just get packed with mud anyway?

If you remove the heel gaurds you should cut the metal bracket on the guard so you end up with "L" support brackets for the fenders. Works great and they are more than enough support.
