Sunday will be my first desert race, actually first race ever besides one TT race. It is in Alamogordo, NM. It is 2 laps of 23 miles each. You guys have any tips? I will try to get pictures on Monday.

So how did it go? Is this part of the BITD series?

I'd love to do some desert racing. 40 - 100 miles is an awesome ride!

Considering I am out of shape, I think I did good. I came in 15th out of 28 and finished with no problems. My time was 1:47:29.

I'm not sure if it is par of the BITD series. It is the New Mexico Desert Racing Club.

Sick, what were you racing against? I live in socal, so desert is the main riding I do. Maybe, once I get a quad, I will try a race.

I was racing against almost every type of sport quad. Mostly Predators, Banshees, Raptors & Z400's. It's a blast.

A couple of us desided just to try to see if we would like it. If you didn't, we would just stay weekend warriors. All of us really liked and will race again in April. Here is some pics of my buddies.

The Cannibal ran great and still had enough gas to do one more lap. Everyone else had to refuel after one lap.
