This is me pointing out the Super Chief from the top of Sand Mountain. I dont think very many people take the side trail up and make the short climb to get up to the rocky point. Well we did and the view is spectacular.

This is how a Cannondale goes up Sand mountain . And not the sissy front face either. The moto ran up both sides of the fingers with ease. The z and the 450 could do the right finger but could only make it midway up the left side. I have a sweet vid of me getting air at the top.

The day didn't go as smooth as possible. Jared blew a tire and snapped his flag off. We patched it up and got it back on. With mega power also comes mega heat and after many hours the fuel in the Moto's tank started to boil. And I mean boil. I had to let it cool for a half hour before the fuel filter would fill back up. The break gave us a chance to see the wildlife in the dunes. They don't taste like chicken either. Blech
