i guess cuz they never seen the brand before.i new what it was saw 500 bucks and bought it.

I think its funny when I tell people that its a Cannondale and they still don't know what it is. And a lot of average joes have never even heard of the bicycles.

I told my father I was building a cannondale and he got all excited. He thought I said Can-Am. He used to race can am motorcycles back in the day. I explained what cannondale was and he was puzzled. I then told him can am was making quads again and he got excited again. HA ha aha If maico or bull taco made quads he would go nuts with excitement.

Not to hijack this thread but my E440 heats up even when trail riding. I have the indicator lights and it comes on when I am riding around. It was in the upper 80s when I rode but it kind of worried me. what should the normal operating temp be when it is warmed up ? The first blinking light goes on at 170 degrees ? The fast blinker goes on at 210 degrees ? The radiator and hoses were hot so I know the system was working.
