I moved to just outside Coos Bay 3 years ago knowing there were 40 miles of dunes here, I did not care. They were for "others" to play on. I raced cars, went snow skiing, worked and mostly, just fixed up my 5 acres to live on. BUT then a friend came down from Portland where I used to live with two Cannondale quads he had just bought. We went riding. WOW! What a blast. Then I wanted one. So I went to Craigslist looking. I found a Moto in the LA area, so I made the trek and bought it and brought it home. It had a couple issues, but got it fixed. Now I just got back from riding a few hours on the Oregon Dunes. It is FAST! So much fun.
So if you are ever in the Coos Bay area, get a hold of me, I'll come ride with you!

The 5th digit is not correct. But, I think you have a 2003 Cannibal frame there.

After work, I went out to the dunes for a couple hours of riding. It had been windy yesterday, so the dunes were smooth. There were very few riders out there, so it was miles of play field. Sand was smooth and was so much fun. Had to rescue one guy who went down one hill and could not get back out. Had a couple people ask what kind of bike I had, they said it looked "wicked".
Wish I would have taken my camera, there was the greatest sunset over the water, and making the dunes glow with orange tints.

Yeah, that's definitely not nice!! That first pic you posted is awesome! What a sight! Can you ride there from the house? Hopefully, you at least have to trailer them 2 miles to get there!! And the craziest part is that for so long you didn't even care it was there! You're a lucky guy!
Post some more pics if you get a chance.
