Virgin pit ridin

bought a dumptruck of topfill for my lawn last week and talking with the driver, he says call him at 7AM on sat. and he'll show me his sand/clay pit. Of course, it took some shmoozing and my wife in her jogging outfit, to get the invitation.:wow

So I ride across the bay in heavy fog, 20 minutes and good ole Gene gave me a tour of the pit. The fog was so heavy i couldn't see 50ft, so when we went back to ride today it was a great surprise!

this shows about 1/4 of the pit, white sand, brown sand, red, white and purple clay, lots of hills and walls and a couple of crystal clear dredge pits. Not a quad or bike track anywhere. Gene's gonna think there were 50 of us with the tracks we left!

I had a small get off when i endoed the landing on a 15ft creek jump. couple of rasberries on the knees to remind me to stay in the gas on the face of the ramp.:mad: I'll be out there sharpening my skills every wknd til the FrogStomp, I'm coming for you NRath.
