I've been there a few times and loved it! stayed in the campgrounds, bigger dunes to the north, need to ride the wash too!

Visited that site prior to posting:) . Was seeking more info regarding the campground and connections, and if it is too cold to go this time of year. I e-mailed and called the ranger station there but have yet to receive a response.

At 6500ft and as cold as it is I'd say 40 at best.. There is no snow though..
