Hey tim.
Out of curiosity what is done to your quad? is it the 505? Being able to beat Banshee's is an awsome sight!!

Great pics btw.

No this one was a 495cc with the lastest and greatest putting out a little more than the previous 505's.The stock injectors was the biggest thing holding the 505 back. The 495 was the same stroke as the 505,but with a longer rod and a smaller piston(97mm-505 98mm)other differences are piston design, cam timing, porting and valve mods, but can't wait to see how the 505's run with these mods!Reason for making the 495cc was some of the drag race classes here are up to 500cc and can run another class.495cc on the mustang car dyno put out 84rwhp and 55 ftlbs torque and on the dynojet quad dyno 59rwhp and 38ft lbs torq.Ave hp from 6000 rpm to 10600 53.8 and ave tq 34.2.Very wide powerband and probably the reason whay so good in the sand. This motor has spanked every 4 stroke it has raced all year and beat most modded bashee's on dirt, sand,or pavement.I couldn't be happier. The longer swingarm was definately nessesary.
