Well now it is not looking too promissing for me going this weekend, the guy that talked me into going can't go now and it looks like only cannondalecarlos will be there at gecko.
If I go somewhere this weekend then it will possibly be to Dumont.

It's only in the low 120s laugh.gif
then when the sun comes out it does get a little warm blink.gif

Actually, the summer rides are great! went out this last labor day, forget about riding in the day time.
Friday night temps were around 85 there were thunder storms all around but stars overhead. the sand was virgin and the only tracks were the ones we made. we saw 4 other riders. by morning the storms were all moving closer, the dunes were lit up but the skys were dark all around and with every turn there was a lightning bolt in the distance, you had to be there. we load up our machines when it got hot, about 7:30 the clouds opened up as we were headed to Brawley to get a motel room, sleep all day and do it again.

We are also planning a ride 1/30/09 through 2/1/09 some of our group will be showing on the night of the 29th.

My trip got pushed a week, so pretty sure I will be going this week... Will either be wash 2 or was thinking of trying the south end of Ogilby... that was the best sand to be found out there last trip.
