Mods for Dune oriented Dales

#1 Post by nuge »

What mods are going on out there for your dune cdales? There must be interesting developments going on. After all its dune season in the know universe. What is working, what isn't in actual practice - exhausts, maps, suspensions, swing arms, etc? What's giving you the edge in those hill drags, flat drags, monster whoops? Any pictures...?

Put some Z400 Dunlops on back if you don't like paddles. Run a 7-8 paddle Hauler or and 8 paddle Glider/Hauler combo.. The paddles that come on the Glamis are to aggressive. Moto mapping is good w/ a pipe. Wider is better also. No tricks really. We jump alot catching 70ft on a regular basis and all the posers watch.. on their shee's. LOL!!!biggrin.gif

Thanks for the info - how's the moto map in long steep hill climbs/drags - enough topend? Any plans for an extended swingarm?

It will do better. Gear up, yes I said up. I run a 40 on back 42 is stock. Glamis doesn't have hills like Utah so your fine. Utahs are waaaaaaaay bigger..

Gotta try out little sahara - hopefully this summer when it's too hot down here. Have you ridden at Patton Valley (between glamis and gordon's well in the imperial sand dunes)? I think they're the highest in this region. As far as slope goes they should be comparable - unless the sand is bacisally different or the laws of physics don't apply in Utah.
