"A new Yamaha Raptor YFM 700 R its going to be available in August 2005. Yamaha Japon already announce the end of the Raptor 660.

Because of the global stock from Raptors 660 all around the world Yamaha has reserved all kind of information and images from their new atv. There is no information on the web"

Personally I think it's gonna make a kickarse trail/playriding quad, gonna trade the YFZ in on one I think, still got the Speed for those MX and fast trail rides.

In Yamaha's defense for the chain adjustment. I beleive Honda had a patent on their chain adjustment that expired this year....I beleive this patent was only recognized by other Japanese companies and not American or Canadian companies as both Cannondale & Bombardier have used this style chain adjustment.

Well, what can I say. I guess I'll have to buy a lawn dart after all. Wait, did I just say that outloud, what am I thinking. LOL For a Yamaha lover, it sounds like a pretty cool deal. I'm sure we'll see an explosion of them in the next year or so. So what is the deal with the more cc, the bigger and badder it is?
