Quad shop Zero pre load ohlin/elka conv?

#1 Post by MXMIKE »

I have the moto front shocks and the stock speed rear. They soak up the big jumps great but I am getting beat in the corners by the guys with zps.

Any one have this done could give me some feed back on how forgiven they are with the hard landings and cornering.biggrin.gif

Hey MX,
I recently had the rear ohlins rebuilt by the quadshop and it is sweeet. Huge improvement. Took them a little longer than I would have liked, but a great job. I already have the fronts and they work great for MX.
Hope that helps.
Paul

LOL Thanks!
It's close, but I'm afraid I'd probably damage it, Im closer to 220 in riding gear. Im not sure how much of the mx track we're running on quads, better to destroy my own shock (prior to rebuild) than a friends smile.gif

Bike is undergoing a complete makeover right now. If I had known more about Paul's rebuild and how nice it turned out I would have put off some of the other stuff in favor of the shock. Funds are now tied up till after the race. You can bet Im sending mine in though.

I honestly didnt think the conversion was that affordable.
