Wistech Powdercoating
Wistech Powdercoating
Im not sure if wistech is the powder coating guru here, Im pretty sure he is, but if he's not someone else can speak up. My Uncle is looking to have a couple things powder coated on his KFX 700, first thing which he knows he wants done is the exhuast shield. If you know what this looks like do you think you could give me a rough estimate on price? I could always post a pic if you need one to get an idea of what it would cost, I think he would like it done in like the elka red/ candy apple red. Hopefully if the price is good I can convince him to send you a couple other goodies too

Yeah, I realize that, was just hoping wistech could shoot me an estimate so I could relay it to my uncle.

If you do this, I highly recommend taking the muffler apart, and ceramic coating the core, and also the inside of the muffler as well. With the short headpipe, it tends to burn packing very quickly, and will eventually crack the first mount. I speak from experience on that one.
