My family, wife and 2 young kids and another family are looking for a nice place to ride. I was hoping 27 and the cheeseheads would have some recommendations.
My 2 dales and my 2 kids quads are pretty loud, so I'm a little concerned about the public Wisconsin trails, plus the one closer to us are pretty flat and not to exciting. I guess the noise is more of a concern than it being too boring.
We went to St. Joes earlier this year and liked that place alot, but I didn't really want to drive 6 hours again. Looking for a three to three and half hour drive. Anyone that would want to join us would be more than welcome. There will be 4 kids quads in our group. Thanks.

Badland in Attica Indiana is about 4 hours from Davenport Iowa.About 800 acres Varied terrain.Pea gravel hills, rides similar to sand.Plus woods trails ,motocross track(xtra fee applies). We've been going there once a month for the last two years and it is still fun.Gary

Wayne, I live 10 mile from the IA border, near Clinton IA. Where do you live? I need someone to show me how to jump.
I should have mentioned my locatoin earlier, and the date is October 10th. My buddy has been to the place near Ottuma, IA several times and that is where he is leaning towards going.
Gary, how friendly is the Badlands for the kids? My buddy didn't think it was kid friendly.

Kevin,
Do you live in Vegas? I work for a casino, and I've been out there the past 2 years for the gaming show. They don't have me going this year....at least not yet. I love going out there. It looks like it would be a blast to ride out there!

I don't think its bad for kids at all .There is an area between the parking lot and lake that
you can watch them ride. There are plenty of flat areas to ride. The hills range from small to Pretty steep. If I remember correctly your kids have been riding for awhile.I don't remember what kind of quads they ride but the only draw back I can think of is the pea gravel hills can suck up a lot of power. Some of the smaller quads can have a tough time going up the hills.Gary

The track is located out side of mountpleasent iowa its motor cross but kids can ride to you can roll over the jumps you can ride quads and bike there every one is welcome to come but you have to sigh a waver to ride and have helmit, boots, chest protecter, nerfs and kill switch.
The fee is $15.00 per rider to help maintain track
