I want a investor to be just that. Why would you invest in a company who just makes money. A true investor invests in a plan or idea to give it the capitol needed to succeed and hopefully then make $. The big thing is how long does that process take to happen? It is not enough anymore to lose $ to make $. That there is the problem because the investors are in effect running the companies. Would you want a career gambler running your company? Thats what we have now.

I don't think this is going to negatively affect ATK and the cannondale side of things. May keep their doors open which in turns keep the machines everyone loves here still available. I know, people are going to jump in and say you don't need atk to keep your machine running. The problem is that once ATK is done with them, the machines are truthfully dead and no hope of anything new what so ever.

Just like the good old honda 250r. Yeah, you can get all kinds of parts for them and keep the current running. Like the 250r, eventually they will fade out without an actual company working to make more available and the dale community will shrink over time.

I agree. Good point. Other way to look at it is if Korean owned and built they might as well be dead because I won't buy one unless it has something new, innovative or it is just plain better that shows that thier company is striving to be #1 at least in some way other than just cost.

Investors only motive is to make money. Otherwise they would be called Donor.

Of course.I am no moron. Why do they have to make it every quarter or for some everyday? There should be a minimum of 3years or maybe more to earn a return on a investment. That would help ensure that investment is longterm and that the investor actually believes in the way company is run or what it is doing and keep there nose out of it.

I think it boils down to who the investors are. Individual investors are more accepting to a long term plan as long as progress in made. When a company like Harley steps in the little guy better watch out because they only look at bottom line. Sad in the case of Buell.

We are expecting a return in profit "investment". If did not expect anything back then we would be just donating money which is more of a socialist view of how things should work LOL.
