Some very sad news from US Highland. One of the principal players if not the main guy along with two other employees of US Highland were killed in a small plane crash on July 10th near Tulsa.

Plane Crash in Mohawk Park Kills Three

(Tulsa, OK) - Three men are dead after their twin-engine Cessna crashed in a heavily-wooded area of Mohawk Park about a mile north of Tulsa International Airport.
Police have identified them as 37-year-old Damian Riddoch, 41-year-old Mats Malmberg, and 51-year-old Chase Bayles. They say they believe all three are from Tulsa. They also believe that Bayles was the owner and pilot of the plane.

Tulsa firefighters had to cut down trees in order to reach the site, where they discovered one of the men survived the initial crash.

The survivor was rushed to St. John Medical Center but later died.

The plane was reportedly en route from Pontiac, Michigan to Jones Riverside Airport in Jenks, when it asked for permission to divert to Tulsa International.

Tulsa Police say the pilot had radioed the tower to say the plane was low on fuel.

It's not yet known if that was a factor in the crash.

Prayers go out to the families of all involved. I know Chase personally and he was the COO of the company. Matts was the president and I am not sure of the position of the third guy within the company.

wow, that is some bad news. at least they died doing something they hopefully enjoyed doing.

As for the company, they were publically traded and would think things would still go forward without them.
