I guess what happened to me was I found cannondaler then I found cannondaleriders well when I went back to check cannondaler it was down, I was just kinda shocked

It looks like phillman still owns the domain name but I assume Frank White actually owns the servers the web site is on? If you let it go to long would it still be possible to buy the site. How does it work?

The domain will usually be released 30-90 days after end date, depending on registrar and whatnot. But alot of the time they charge a hefty fee on it for a few months after that. Eventually they release the domain for regular purchase. All depends on the registrar that holds the rights to the domain that the original owner purchased it on. You'd have to checkout the owning registrar on a whois lookup and then research their policies.

What is the point of running 2 sites? Don't get me wrong. It was great to have 2 sites in case one went down. But I don't think there is enough traffic to warrant 2 sites.

I don't know if its possible but it would be nice to get the forum database for archival purposes.
