Rear sprockets??????

#1 Post by Big55sexy »

Rear sprocket on the cannondale does it have the same bolt pattern as the 400ex? Going with 18in tires thinking about running a 14/40 gearing. thanks

I think so. I know they're the same as a 250R. Unless your running on a slow track, I'd recommend going with a 14/38. I run on faster tracks and it does fine. Plenty of power and speed.

14/40 gearing would be a good chocie for slower and more technical tracks, and for sx tracks like i run im running 14/42 and then i run my 14 39 for larger mx tracks

yes a 400ex sprocket will work have one on my quad now

fronts are the same as ktm i have heard

I had checked into the 44t awhile back and the only place that had them available was Sprocket Specialists and they listed $68 if I remember correctly just for the alum version! I didn't even bother w/asking for other compounds of them but it was also a 3-4 week waiting period on one I was told.

I usually run 14/38 gearing, with good results. I also have a 42 incase a super tight track. I have sprockets for these. I'm going to try a 15t front later, should provide more torque over the rear wheels.
