Nice bike. It will be interesting to see how it does after the requisite mods, like the YFZ, which the dales can beat stock, but have a real problem with when they're piped, jetted and have the cam mod. It will be interesting to see how fast the 450R gets...

Yep, from my experience a stock Cannibal is slightly faster than a stock YFZ in a 300' drag.

When a YFZ is uncorked it evens things up and maybe even shifts to the YFZ's favor. Finish out the easy YFZ mods, and they're difficult to deal with, even with a good exhaust and mapping...

I'm sure it's fast. But I just can't get past that goofy nose on the 450r.

I don't think it looks that bad at all, myself. I didn't like the artist renderings I first saw though.

I don't like the look of many of the new quads out there - the Raptor look is getting really old. The Spy vs Spy look of the YFZ looks a little cheezy to me as well..

Anyhow, here's a pic of a 450R with a hood. Very nice if you ask me....

It looks more like a 250r with the hood on.

I think that he stated it was a stock cannibal, if you are refering to the one dragging the 450r.

thay are both running 20" rear tires on 9" rims. My new 14T sprocket is on order.

I have a feeling incorrectly adjusted throttles are going to be the source of a lot of chest beating on the forums.....  (just like in the days of the 400EX).

The throttle was out of adjustment. She is slamming the slide 100% now smile.gif

thanks for the reminder gabe.

Also, if you know anyone looking for a clean, used stock C'dale, keep me in mind- mine's on the block!

I am planning a late summer get together at my place. Probably in late August (before kids go back to school). You are welcome to come ride any time and the R is fair game. smile.gif
