465 Monster

#1 Post by timbomoose »

Just finishing up getting the c'dale together.Did some motor mods and made it a 465.Tryed it out today.Have 14th frt and 38 th rear sprocket with 20 in rears.Seemed to pull really strong.Just have the cannibal map in it now and look forward to getting it tuned in with some other maps, should be a breeze tuning it with the map select kit and adjust maps and fuel mixture on the fly.Ported the head, did air box mods used a big winky rod and a big winky/haydug 450 piston. I also love the haydug cannondaleriders graphics kit,2nd set. Can't wait till the weather brakes(snow) to do some tuning and looking forward to the group ride.smile.gif :head:

Id like some information on how you got 465 cc. Is it stroked? What kind of a sleeve did you use?

Its stroked 2mm.Had to take off a 1mm off the piston and valve seats on the piston to clear and had to machine the crank to clear also.Piston is a 97mm 450 (big winky/haydug) with a cast sleeve.Kept the compression normal to run pump gas because I do alot of trail riding and don't want to be dumping alot of money in race gas.Alot of work and time.I'll have to try to make it to Majestic Fri. or Sat. if I can find some time this weekend to break it in. I'll try to get some more pics also.
