Raptor or keep the stingray

I just bought a 76 Stingray for $1500. I would say abot $2000 would bring it up to a 5 or $6000 car. But a friend wants to trade me his 01 raptor with a hmf pipe. I have rode the quad and its a pretty good quad. he used it to drag race.
Are raptors worth it or should I stick out the Stingray? I have pics of the stingray at my web site.

Oh if you are wondering how i got the car at that price. Just the right place with cash in my pocket at the right time.

Tellyou what, in order to keep the peace between two freinds I'll make a sacrifice and give you $1500 for the vette. That way you won't hurt his feelings by not trading and you won't lose any money on the car. I can pick it up Sunday.

the car will appreciate at some point if it's restored. the quad will only depreciate.
