hood?

where can I get a carbon fiber hood?

do I have to cut the plastic at all? because I cant cut into where the air filter is!

quadtech made them i dont think they do anymore thoguh but im not sure. some peopel have them for sale every now and then. and eyha im almsot possitive you ahve to cut into the front fender soemwhere by the filter.

that sucks, I can't modify my air box for the one of the classes I'm running.

I think they would consider the box on top the throttle body the airbox even though filter is in front of it.Or they should.

I'm one of the TECH guys for our series, if you modify you quad so more air can flow in to the airbox it will not pass tech!

your not really modifying the airbox you are cutting the hood so the quadtech hood will fit. you cut like a 1 inch of off the humped part in front of the steering stem so the hood will not interfere.

so the hood would actualy cover over the hole you cut?

You could take the fenders off and it would not supply any more air to the motor.Modify that box above the throttle body and then you will get more air.

yes the hood covers the hole that you cut! you cut the top off so the hood will fit then the hood fits right over the part you cut off
